With the wide development of direct injection technologies in the last years, it is mandatory for Fuels distributors to provide a gasoline technology which is efficient for usual indirect injection engines (IVD) but also for direct injection (DI) engines, both of them being possibly associated to full or plug in hybrid systems. DI engines require specific deposit control components because deposits build in on injectors inside the combustion chamber is different from deposits build up on the intake valves. Hence a new generation of gasoline additive is required to ensure optimal engine cleanliness for both technologies
